Defense value

The higher the Defense Value of a ship is, the higher the chance that it will survive a battle.

When predicting the outcome of a battle, Defense Value of a fleet should be combined with Attack Value to give the Combat Value (CV). The Starbase's Defense Value should be added to both Attack Value and Defense Value of the defending fleet to provide a relatively reliable prediction of the outcome of the battle (assuming both sides have equal scientific levels of Physics and Mathematics).

Notes

• The owner of the defending planet will always get a warning of the incoming fleet detailing the offensive ships and how many transports are incoming with an ETA (See: Arrival Time Calculator).
